The Uganda Virus Research Institute through East African Consortium for Clinical Research-HIV node (EACCR2-HIV node) is inviting applications for a short course training on Basic Epidemiology and Biostatistics that will be held from 20th to 24th August 2018 at Uganda Virus Research Institute, Entebbe, Uganda. This is a 5-day long course targeted at young researchers, Medical doctors, laboratory technologists, Masters’ and PhD students who need the skills in basic epidemiology and biostatistics. The course consists of intensive learning sessions and hands on practical sessions in biostatistics delivered by some of the leading biostatisticians and epidemiologists in the field.
