The REMIND trial is a randomized clinical trial to investigate the effect of SMS and Real TimeMedication Monitoring (RTMM) on adherence to treatment among peope living with HIV (PLHIV). PLHIV who are judged to be non-adherent are randomized in one of three arms: (1) SMS, (2) RTMM or (3) control. They will be followed for one year. The participants in arm 1 and 2 will receive SMS messages for reminding to take medication and tailored feedback during consultation with their counselors. Adherence to treatment and virological outcomes will be compared amongst the arms. This project is part of the EDCTP2 programme supported by the European Union
